Achieving long-term economic prosperity can be achieved by investing in what we have identified as the 4 Foundational Pillars: Education, Health, Economy and Quality of Place.
Quality of Place attracts and maintains a healthy workforce, entrepenuers, tourists, families and retirees. In short, it is everything that makes a community a great place to live, work and play.
In order to maintain an outstanding “Quality of Place” we have created county-wide, strategic initiatives involving public, private, and non-profit sectors that focus on ways to enhance what already makes St. Charles County an outstanding community.
One of our most notable events each year is the MO’Cowbell Marathon held in Frontier Park in St. Charles. This Boston Marathon qualifying race attracts over 5,000 runners each year and boasts the fastest, flattest course in the area. The proceed from this run stay in the community and introduces St. Charles County as a great place to live, work and play to visitors.
